What is the operating system. os is a system software without which the computer cannot run. os means software to operate the system. As such, the window is a requirement of the of to run the computer.

The window of activates the hardware part of the computer and gets the task performed in the computer. Talking about the process here, the process means all management. Like user management system: like adding user, deleting user etc.

Internal has sound card, Bluetooth card, graphic card, WiFi card and external has input / output port. Through which input and output devices can be connected. There is a requirement of a driver or a type of software to run all these devices. The os supports to install the driver. Which installs the driver and allows the devices connected to the input and output to work. It is the os of all the work that the device management system does.

Network Management System

The computer has a NIC(NETWORK INTERFACE CARD) card on the mother board. Through which we can connect one computer to another computer. And you can share files and folders with each other. Sending and receiving files all work through the os. The os allows to send files. The os allows the file to be received

Security Management System

The os in the computer provides security. You can create your user account in computer. In which you can create username and password. After that whenever you open the computer, first you will be asked to enter username and password. After that you can access all the applications and file folders of the computer. All this work is done through the os.

Error management system

If ERROR is generated in your system, the os detects it and recovers ERROR.

Advantages of operating system

The os has input / output devices control. Scheduling the process is the job of the os. When the process completes, the os de-allocates it. The os detects and recovers the ERROR. The os creates synergy between users and the system. The os is a repository of many programs that help to run other application programs.

Batch Operating System

The batch operating system is not directly interacted with the computer. In this, an operator is used who assigns the similar job and makes a group and sends it to the CPU.
Advantage of batch operating system can share multiple batch in batch operating system.
Work is easily done in batch.
Batch operating system manages large work.

Disadvantage of batch osm Debugging in batch os is very difficult. Batch operating system is ready, if any task fails in the batch os, then the task has to wait a long time to complete.

Network Operating System

Advantages of Real Time Operating System

Disadvantage of real time operating system
Disadvantage of real time operating system is that it can perform limited tasks at one time, it is very expansive. It has a very difficult and complex algorithm written.

Distributed operating system

This type of os is considered a very good os. Communication technology has changed well through the distributor os. The distributed os is very cheap.

In a distributor operating system, if a user is operating a computer and no software is installed on his system, then he can use the software through the distributor operating system. But for this system must be connected to the network. If remote access is enabled then it can use the software.

Advantages of Distributor os: We can exchange data via electronic mail. In the distributed os, data processing becomes very quick. The loading time of the computer is reduced, the computation is very fast in the distributor os.

Disadvantage of distributed operating system:
If the main network fails then communication cannot take place
This os is very expansive. This os is not easily available. Distributor os is example LOCUS .
